	Buck: Buck is a 5 year old . He is very sweet and affectionate and loves to snuggle. Further, he is always ready to play. He loves to play with other dogs and chase balls. He is house trained, knows some basic commands, and is does fairly well on a leash. He likes all people including children. Unfortunately, recently Buck has had several incidents of growling and dominant behavior with younger people. He needs a home with adults who will show him who is in charge. Due to his dominant tendencies, GGRR will not place him in a home with children. It is these tendencies that have earned him a place on the GGRR Special Needs page. added 3/11/2007

The Puppy Mill Rescue Goldens Gateway Golden Retriever Rescue has accepted 12 Golden Retrievers that were rescued from a puppy mill which has been closed down by the State. Of these 12 Golden Retrievers, 7 of them were 4 month old puppies, and 5 are adult dogs whose exact ages are unknown as of this writing. Update July 5, 2005: Of the original 12 goldens, 11 have now been adopted. Amos, the last puppy to be adopted, was kept by his foster family.
